Michael S. Weisenbach Associate




Mike Weisenbach focuses his practice on defense of corporate and insurance clients in a wide variety of civil litigation matters, including general, premises and products liability and toxic tort claims. He has served as national counsel for a major manufacturer, working with local counsel across the United States to defend against product liability claims. In addition, Mike has served as counsel to international excess insurance carriers to monitor and evaluate the litigation status of potential excess claims.

During law school, Mike worked as a judicial law clerk for the judges and magistrates of the Franklin County Municipal Court in Columbus, Ohio, for more than two years, researching and writing judicial opinions on a wide range of civil and criminal issues. He was selected to serve on the moot court governing board during all three years, culminating in his selection as Chief Justice in his third year. Also during his third year, Mike competed in the National Moot Court competition and won the best brief award along with his team in their regional competition. Upon graduation, Mike earned the Moritz Award for student leadership, the Harter Award for trial practice, and the Topper Eagle Award for administration of the moot court program.
