Beata Shapiro (Partner-Boston) participated as an organizer of the 52nd Transportation Law Institute to be held by the Transportation Lawyers Association on November 8, 2019, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In addition to contributing to the opening remarks for this symposium focused on the most topical aspects of the law, practice and procedure as they affect the transportation industry, Beata will serve as moderator of a panel titled “Diamonds and Pearls.” Panelists will discuss the risks and risk mitigation options, regulations and operational challenges of transporting high-risk, high-value cargo such as fine art, fine jewelry, cannabis products and currency.
