Ben Demsky represents established businesses and individuals in all aspects of civil litigation defense. He has handled various types of civil litigation, including no-fault, third-party, UM and UIM claims, toxic torts, civil rights, medical malpractice and appeals. Ben has achieved successful outcomes before trial courts throughout Michigan and the Michigan Court of Appeals.

Having previously worked in-house for an insurance company, Ben also has experience in insurance regulatory issues, including handling matters with the Michigan Department of Insurance and Financial Services (DIFS).

Areas of Focus

Insurance Defense
Ben has successfully handled catastrophic injury cases against no-fault insurers, including first- and third-party lawsuits. Working as a plaintiffs' attorney for several years, he has a unique perspective into the strategies employed by both sides.

Medical Malpractice
Benjamin has specialized in defending claims against physicians, hospitals and non-physician providers, and has handled medical malpractice–related appeals.
