Brittany Lawler represents individuals and businesses in all aspects of civil litigation. Her practice focuses on the defense of claims related to professional liability matters. Additionally, Brittany has eight years of experience handling insurance defense matters, equipping her with an in-depth understanding of risk assessment and litigation strategy. Prior to joining Wilson Elser, Brittany practiced at a Michigan-based insurance defense firm, where she represented insurance carriers in first- and third-party automobile claims. During law school, Brittany served as a law clerk for the Honorable Michael C. Chupa of the 37th District Court in Warren, Michigan, gaining significant exposure to state law and procedure. She also worked as a law clerk at an established insurance defense firm, assisting in defending insurance carriers against various auto liability claims, including catastrophic injury matters.
A highlight of Brittany’s law school career included her selection as a case summary writer for the Michigan Court of Appeals docket visit, this prestigious opportunity a testament to her exceptional academic performance and legal writing skills.
