Brittany Thornton represents established businesses in all aspects of pre-trial civil litigation. Her practice focuses on the defense of claims related to general liability, premises liability and personal injury. A substantial portion of Brittany's practice includes the defense of lawsuits arising out of third-party criminal acts, including shootings, death-in-custody incidents and various wrongful death matters.
Before joining Wilson Elser as an associate, Brittany worked as a law clerk at the firm. During law school, Brittany was a research assistant in the Office of the Chancellor & Dean at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, and gained valuable experience as a judicial extern in the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
