Christopher P. Flanagan

Nicholas Freeman (Partner-Orlando) and Christopher Flanagan (Partner-Boston) made a presentation to the U35s Claims Group formed by the Lloyd’s Market Association (LMA) and the London & International Insurance Brokers' Association (LIIBA) for Lloyd’s managing agents, claims adjusters and claims brokers. The primary aim of the group is to promote education and interest in all aspects of insurance claims and to educate members on general and class-specific claims matters. Nicholas and Christopher’s presentation topics included the U.S. state and federal court systems; removal of lawsuits to federal court; pleadings, discovery, depositions and civil trials; the roles of various legal counsel; and claims handling.
