One of Wilson Elser's premier internal programs, the National Trial Advocacy Training (NTAT) series is led by National Trial Team (NTT) co-chairs, Stratton Horres, Eugene Boulé and Mat Ross with the assistance of selected faculty, including the firm’s NTT Regional Coordinators residing in our offices throughout the county. This annual training, offered through the Wilson Elser Institute, covers the latest trends in trial strategy and advocacy techniques and teaches emerging attorneys the skills and agility to adeptly handle any aspect of trial work in the courtroom.

The June 28 National Trial Advocacy Training (NTAT) session, Women Trial Lawyers – Lessons from the Trenches, was a resounding success! Kudos to National Trial Team co-chair Stratton Horres and Las Vegas Regional Trial Team coordinator Karen L. Bashor (also a panelist) for moderating this inspiring and engaging conversation with a panel of highly accomplished trial lawyers, Mary Louise Kandyba (Partner-Chicago, IL), Jillian Keith (Partner-Dallas, TX) and Aviva Stein (Partner-New York, NY).

Drawing inspiration from the March 2023 Claims Litigation Management article by Stratton, Karen and Alexandra B. McLeod (Of Counsel-Las Vegas, NV)  “Missing Pieces: How Women Trial Lawyers Complete Your Trial Team,” the panelists offered their professional advice for success in the field and shared the ways they effectively juggle demanding and rewarding careers with multiple other obligations.
