Edward DeVries (Of Counsel-Chicago | Indiana) obtained a complete defense verdict in a jury trial in downstate Indiana DuBois Circuit Court in a case defending a Lloyd’s of London insured rifle and gun club against the plaintiffs’ claims of trespass, nuisance, negligence and infliction of emotional distress. This was the culmination of a more than five-year battle brought by landowners with property adjacent to the gun range. The trial lasted five days, and Ed handled all aspects of the trial in a remote location, without the resources of a local office.
