Daniel H. Fishelman represents individuals and businesses in all areas of civil litigation. His practice primarily focuses on defending claims involving general liability and casualty, premises liability, personal injury, and construction accidents. He manages cases through all stages of litigation, from initial evaluation and discovery to trial preparation and settlement negotiations. Daniel’s thorough case analysis enables him to craft compelling defense strategies, assess exposure, and pursue cost-effective resolutions on behalf of the firm’s clients.
Before joining Wilson Elser, Daniel practiced at a national law firm, where he defended clients in matters involving construction accidents, premises liability, transportation, and hospitality. He also gained valuable experience at a boutique immigration firm, where he handled cases involving humanitarian-based immigration and family law. During law school, Daniel served on the Federal Communications Law Journal and worked as a Student Attorney with the Immigration Clinic. His diverse legal background and upbringing in Queens, New York, equip him with a unique perspective that enhances his ability to analyze cases and develop practical, client-focused defense strategies.
