Daniel Park is a seasoned litigator defending companies, organizations, and individuals across Washington, Oregon, and Alaska. His practice concentrates on complex tort, personal injury, transportation and maritime, product liability, property damage, and a range of commercial disputes.  Daniel excels at defending high-volume business litigation and developing strategies that improve efficiency, control legal costs, and highlight clients’ strongest arguments to achieve favorable outcomes.

Before joining Wilson Elser, Daniel was a partner in a regional Pacific Northwest law firm where he was a practice group leader for the firm’s litigation group. He also was a partner at a boutique law firm focusing on admiralty and maritime litigation.

In the area of complex tort and general casualty, Daniel has successfully litigated matters for clients related to personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability, construction injury, subrogation, and property damage.

Transportation
Daniel is experienced in defending companies and drivers in connection with motor vehicle and trucking collision cases of all sizes, including cases involving catastrophic injury and death. He has litigated issues involving independent contractor designations and represented technology companies using app-based platforms in the gig economy.

Admiralty & Maritime
Daniel has extensive experience in maritime litigation, including claims for Jones Act negligence, unseaworthiness, passenger injuries, cargo damage, charter party disputes, and vessel arrests and attachments.

Product Liability
Daniel has defended manufacturers and sellers in products liability claims involving various consumer products. He also has managed teams of attorneys and paralegals in large-scale e-discovery disputes for product liability cases
