Elvia Hague focuses her practice primarily on defending labor and employment law related matters. She also has extensive experience in the areas of general civil litigation, construction defect, catastrophic injury, premises liability, dangerous premises conditions, negligent hiring and training and supervision, personal injury, survival and wrongful death actions, and general negligence cases. Elvia has experience in all aspects and stages of litigation through trial.

Elvia has extensive experience handling cases with claims brought under Title VII, FMLA, ADA, ADEA, FLSA, 42 U.S.C. §1981, ERISA, and state law fair employment practices statutes, along with tort and contract claims. She represents employers in connection with claims pending before administrative agencies such as the EEOC and Texas Commission on Human Rights. Elvia represents national corporations, businesses and employers, and nonprofit organizations from a wide spectrum of industries.

Life, Health, Disability & ERISA
Elvia has experience representing life, health and disability insurers in litigation matters throughout Texas in state and federal courts, under ERISA and state law claims. This includes representing clients in state and federal courts in litigation involving ERISA and non-ERISA disputes over disability, life and health coverage.

Professional Malpractice
In addition, Elvia represents real estate agents, attorneys and other professionals in connection with malpractice claims. Her practice includes complex malpractice claims arising from underlying legal work, real estate transactions and various other issues. Elvia frequently is retained to defend a wide range of professionals before their licensing boards, including professional counselors, brokers and real estate agents.
