Chicago, Illinois, partners Ashley Conaghan and Erik Tomberg will present “Waiver and Estoppel Overview,” on May 10, 2022, during the second week of the virtual Wilson Elser Insurance Coverage Master Class Series. This presentation includes a discussion of two separate estoppel theories – equitable estoppel and estoppel when an insurer incorrectly denies or provides a defense. Presenters will address the different options insurers have for handling claims and the potential waiver and estoppel ramifications of these choices.
