Jacqueline Hattar (Partner, White Plains, NY) and Nikolette Nrekaj (Associate-White Plains, NY) participated as guest readers in the annual Read Across America Day celebration at the Eugenio de Maria Hostos MicroSociety School in Yonkers, New York, on February 28. 2025. Read Across America commemorates the birthday of author Dr. Seuss in schools across the country. Jackie has served as the liaison between the Westchester Women’s Bar Association (WWBA) and Read Across America Day in the Yonkers Public Schools since 2007, and has helped to coordinate this year’s event on behalf of the WWBA. She is a long-time WWBA Board member and currently an elected Director. Nikolette is a  new WWBA member, who joined other WWBA members to share their love of reading with the students.
