Nikolette Nrekaj focuses her practice on the defense of complex tort and general casualty matters. She handles claims involving personal injury, wrongful death, property damage and premises liability, transportation litigation and indemnity disputes. Nikolette’s broad client base includes commercial businesses, transportation companies, restaurants, retail establishments, landlords and general contracting companies. She collaborates closely with clients and prides herself on being highly responsive and adept at early case evaluation. She has a keen ability to identify potential early resolutions.
Before joining Wilson Elser, Nikolette was a legal extern at a boutique real estate firm, gaining valuable experience in various real estate matters and the complex issues facing real estate professionals. While completing her law degree, Nikolette interned at a real estate practice and was a paralegal at a Brooklyn litigation firm specializing in family law and personal injury litigation. She honed her legal research and writing skills as a judicial intern, drafting memoranda on family law issues for The Honorable Mary Anne Scattaretico-Naber, Westchester County Family Court (Yonkers), Ninth Judicial District of New York.
