George Twill represents established businesses and individuals in all aspects of civil litigation. His practice focuses on the defense of claims related to general liability, employment and labor law, premises liability, automobile liability, and commercial litigation. In addition, George has significant experience handling insurance coverage litigation, risk transfer, and commercial contract disputes.
Prior to joining Wilson Elser, George worked at a New York metropolitan area law firm, where he handled insurance coverage matters and litigation, as well as small business defense, employment law actions, and various commercial litigation. Previously, he practiced at a litigation defense firm, where he primarily handled automobile and premises liability defense for insurance carrier clients and their insureds.

Premises & General Liability
In the areas of general liability and premises liability, George has successfully handled personal injury and negligence cases brought against a variety of small businesses, including salons and tattoo parlors, involving claims related to slip and falls and negligent treatments and procedures. He has effectively represented indoor and outdoor entertainment and fitness centers with amusements, including inflatables, ball pits, slides, bounce houses, and trampolines, in the defense of claims related to personal injury, general negligence, and negligent supervision. Additionally, George has successfully handled and achieved favorable resolution of numerous automobile negligence claims, including trying a number of cases to verdict. In the area of insurance coverage litigation, George has successfully resolved disputes related to risk transfer and first-party property damage.
