Holly Herring practices in a broad range of civil litigation matters, including but not limited to general liability, premises liability, construction defects, professional liability, discrimination, and trucking and transportation matters. She has experience representing companies and insurance carriers, pre-suit through appeal, in multiple areas of law. Holly’s wide-ranging experience enables her to represent various clients through all stages of litigation and implement effective defense strategies to resolve claims quickly and efficiently.
Holly began her legal career as an assistant district attorney in Dorchester County, South Carolina, and gained valuable trial experience prosecuting juveniles, criminal domestic violence and fraudulent check offenders. In 2013, she moved to Dallas, Texas, and clerked for the Honorable Martin Hoffman in the 68th Civil District Court in Dallas, Texas, where she handled a variety of civil matters. Holly then worked at a Texas insurance defense firm where she served as defense counsel for cases involving dram shop liability, product liability, construction defects and trucking accidents. She secured defense verdicts in several multimillion-dollar trials involving wrongful death and trucking matters. Holly then moved to a Denver, Colorado, workers’ compensation defense firm in 2016 where she counseled insurance carriers and self-insured companies daily on risk management, handled workers’ compensation claims through appeal and negotiated complex settlement agreements.
