Marjorie C. Nicol (Of Counsel-Houston) was recently elected to serve a two-year term on the Insurance Law Council for the State Bar of Texas, which governs the Insurance Law Section of the State Bar, subject to approval by the full Insurance Law Section membership at the Annual Meeting in June. Marjorie is excited to begin her tenure: The Council is responsible for organizing CLEs, issuing publications, managing the website and all other functions of the Insurance Law Section. “The Council is composed of lawyers I consider the insurance-law gurus of our state, and I am very pleased to be in their company.”
