Jane Bendle Lucero specializes in civil litigation defense, with a focus on personal injury automobile accidents and general liability claims for insureds through their carriers. She also is monitoring counsel for London Market insurers, providing analysis and evaluation of claim exposure, assisting carrier and defense counsel with litigation strategy, monitoring defense costs, and working to maximize claim settlement opportunities.

Jane has extensive experience analyzing and defending claims involving insurance coverage, defamation, wrongful death, construction liability, trucking liability, product liability, intellectual property, insurance bad faith, construction defect, and toxic tort. She is a collaborative team player who prioritizes strong working relationships to deliver effective results for her clients.

Before joining Wilson Elser, Jane was a partner in a prominent Denver civil defense firm, serving insurers, businesses, and professionals. In addition to private practice, she has experience as in-house staff trial counsel and coverage counsel for one of the largest American insurance companies. She currently serves as secretary of the executive board of the Colorado chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).
