Jeb S. Penka is an experienced and practical litigator and trial attorney, focused in the areas of insurance defense litigation, personal injury, premises liability, employment litigation, professional liability defense, and defense of unfair claims settlement practices under M.G.L. c. 93A and c. 176D.

Prior to joining Wilson Elser Jeb was counsel for a Fortune 100 insurance carrier where he defended insured claims in New Hampshire while defending claims of bad faith insurance practices in Massachusetts.

Jeb began his career practicing in the courts of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in a wide array of civil litigation matters. Thereafter his practice grew to encompass litigation in the Massachusetts Federal District Court, including prosecution of s.1983 claims and defense of general liability claims. He has represented clients ranging from international conglomerates to local businesses, and has successfully defended and assisted in the defense of claims in Massachusetts and New Hampshire courts.
