Jessica Johnson advocates for businesses, organizations, municipalities, and individuals in all aspects of civil litigation. Her practice focuses on the defense of claims related to general liability, automobile liability, premises liability, and medical malpractice. Jessica effectively handles all phases of the litigation process, from pre-suit matters to resolution.

Prior to joining Wilson Elser, Jessica practiced at a regional insurance defense firm. Previously, she gained valuable experience as an attorney for the City of Atlanta, where she represented the city in various matters, including personal injury disputes, quiet title/interpleaders, 1983 litigation, and administrative hearings.

During law school, Jessica’s rich variety of internships included working as a limited practice student attorney at the MacArthur Justice Center, a non-profit firm focused on criminal justice reform and civil rights litigation, as well as serving as an intern at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Atlanta and a law clerk in the Office of the Shelby County Public Defender in Memphis, Tennessee.
