Joseph Dybisz handles a broad range of civil litigation matters, including insurance coverage disputes and the defense of general liability and professional liability claims. Joseph regularly advises clients on insurance coverage issues and litigates coverage and bad faith cases for general and specialty lines insurance and reinsurance companies. He has prosecuted and defended matters related to insurance coverage in Illinois, Indiana, California, Florida, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, and elsewhere.

Joseph’s general liability defense practice primarily focuses on claims arising from transportation accidents. He effectively navigates difficult issues essential to ensuring the transfer of risk, liability, and indemnity from his clients. In addition, Joseph defends attorneys, insurance agents, real estate agents, brokers, architects, and engineers in professional liability matters.

Prior to joining Wilson Elser, Joseph served as a judicial extern for the Honorable David B. Atkins in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Chancery Division. In addition, Joseph gained regulatory and compliance experience as an extern in the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority's Enforcement Division.
