Joshua Bachrach

Joshua Bachrach (Partner-Philadelphia) recently obtained a Third Circuit victory covered in a Bloomberg Law article, “Successful Lawyer Loses Bid for Extra Disability Benefits.” The Court of Appeals agreed with Josh that by passing the bar and establishing a law firm during the period of claimed disability, the claimant was no longer entitled to receive disability benefits. The court rejected the claimant’s argument that a prior award of benefits entitled him to continued receipt of benefits.
