Lauren “Lo” Stadler (Associate-McLean, VA) will present a Wilson Elser Forum webinar on
“Developments in Disability Law in the Workplace and the EEOC’s Enforcement Priorities” on September 26, 2024. The EEOC recently published its “Strategic Enforcement Plan” for fiscal years 2024–2028, which highlights the agency’s enforcement priorities over the next several years. Commission has identified emerging and developing issues related to employment discrimination and disability status, including (1) pregnancy and pregnancy-related disabilities, (2) obesity and reasonable accommodation requests, and (3) technology-related employment discrimination and website accessibility. Lo will explore the developing laws in these areas and equip employers, counsel and insurance professionals with the knowledge to help prevent disability discrimination claims.
