Sheri Thome (Partner-Las Vegas) was appointed to the State Bar of Nevada's Standing Committee on Ethics and Professional Responsibility at a meeting of the Board of Governors held on November 2. The purpose of the Committee is to make available advisory opinions on the ethical considerations of the practice of law, which shall prevent harm to the public from the unethical practice of law and provide a clear and timely understanding of the ethics of practicing law. The Committee includes 11 members and one liaison from the Board of Governors; Sheri’s term will run until 2025.
