Leia Leitner

On October 1, 2023, Leia Leitner assumed the role of President of the Orlando Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. In this leadership role, Leia will assist her fellow officers in the advancement of the science of jurisprudence and in promoting the welfare, interests, education and professional development of local federal practitioners. Leia also will promote legal education opportunities and experiences to enhance the careers of the chapter’s young lawyers. Leia has been involved with the organization for five years and has served as president-elect, treasurer, vice president of membership and communications director.

Founded in 1971, the Orlando Chapter of the Federal Bar Association is a voluntary organization serving federal practitioners and the federal judiciary. The mission of the FBA is to strengthen the federal legal system and administration of justice by serving the interests and needs of the federal practitioner, both public and private, the federal judiciary and the public they serve.
