Makenzie Kaiser represents clients in a broad range of civil litigation. Her clients include commercial carriers, small businesses, and construction companies, with Makenzie especially enjoying the opportunity to represent women-owned businesses. Makenzie is a member of an accomplished, multidisciplinary team with a strong focus on commercial litigation and the defense of complex casualty and discrimination claims. Additionally, she is well-versed in the defense of claims related to auto accidents, product liability, dram shop liability, and construction defect matters, as well as wrongful death actions. 

Makenzie is known for her fairness, dependability, and consistent follow-through. Clients and colleagues alike appreciate her ability to create an environment where people feel truly heard, respected, and genuinely supported – particularly during some of the most challenging moments of their lives. Before joining Wilson Elser, Makenzie worked at an established litigation defense firm, where she was a valued member of the Litigation group. Previously, she gained substantial experience in employment law matters and civil rights litigation at a Portland firm. Prior to her law career, Makenzie worked in business management and customer service positions for over a decade; her roles in the private sector have remained instrumental in shaping her client-centric approach.
