Marisa Okun defends national insurance carriers in general litigation matters, including premises liability, automobile, property damage and trucking liability. She handles cases from inception to trial and/or settlement. Marisa has managed significant caseloads, including initial and continued contact with the insured and claims adjusters, drafting pleadings and discovery, conducting depositions, reporting to the carrier in compliance with national guidelines, drafting and arguing dispositive motions, drafting appellate briefs and arguing before the New York Supreme Court Appellate Division.
