Mark Johnson is an experienced litigator who represents a wide variety of businesses and individuals in civil litigation matters ranging from toxic torts to sexual assault.

A large portion of Mark’s practice focuses on catastrophic personal injury and general liability defense. He handles all aspects of civil litigation, including pre-litigation resolution, discovery, depositions, law and motion, mediation and trial. Mark works closely with insurance adjusters, corporate clients and in-house counsel to develop effective litigation and settlement strategies. In so doing, he has successfully resolved numerous matters through dispositive law and motion work, and obtained many favorable resolutions through negotiated settlements.

Mark takes pride in his ability to represent his clients in all phases of litigation. He successfully petitioned the California Courts of Appeal for a writ of mandate reversing the trial court’s denial of a motion for summary judgement filed by his client in a toxic tort matter. Mark second-chaired one of the first in-person trials in Los Angeles County Superior Court following the COVID-19 shutdown.
