Mellissa Gobin

Mellissa Gobin works with a team that focuses on Complex Tort and General Casualty. For the past three years, Mellissa has focused on all stages of litigation, requiring her to prepare answers, draft tailored demands, review samples and prepare third-party complaints, attend court conferences, prepare for depositions, prepare documents for independent medical examinations and sort out written discovery issues. 

Prior to joining Wilson Elser, Mellissa gained significant defense litigation experience as an associate with a small defense firm located in midtown Manhattan, where she primarily handled premises liability matters. Mellissa also worked with a personal injury boutique firm in Forest Hills, New York, and for a solo practitioner assisting with personal injury and matrimonial cases in Garden City, New York.
