Michael Turner practices in the areas of commercial finance and real estate transactions. He has extensive experience in negotiating, documenting and closing single-lender and syndicated secured credit facilities and unsecured credit facilities, including asset-based loans, equipment financing transactions and commercial real estate financing transactions. In conjunction with his representation of financial institutions, Mike also handles restructurings and work-outs of problem loans, including debtor-in-possession financing. He also represents and counsels buyers, sellers and lenders in commercial real estate acquisitions, sales and financings, and represents both landlords and tenants in real estate leasing transactions.

Mike brings a “cradle to grave” perspective to his commercial transactional practice. He routinely represents and counsels lenders and borrowers on the front end (loan originations) and the back end (work-outs, restructurings and insolvencies). This ability to put financing transactions on and take them off offers a unique perspective in issue spotting and developing pragmatic strategic alternatives and solutions.

Mike applies his years of experience, focused attention to detail, a calm demeanor and common-sense problem-solving skills to each matter. He enjoys working collaboratively with his clients and always strives to deliver value-added service throughout each assignment.
