Michelle Sabin is an experienced litigator and trial attorney who has handled cases throughout Florida. Her practice focuses on general liability, first-party property and casualty defense, insurance coverage, and commercial litigation.

Michelle has successfully argued and prevailed on numerous dispositive motions securing dismissals and summary judgments for her clients. She has also achieved favorable outcomes at trial, arbitration, and mediation. With experience managing cases from inception through trial, Michelle provides clients with strategic insight and effective advocacy at every stage of litigation.

Before joining Wilson Elser, Michelle served as managing partner of the Tampa office of a statewide defense firm in Florida. Earlier in her career, she was an associate at a prominent national defense firm, where Michelle handled general liability, nursing home defense litigation, first-party coverage, property casualty defense, and construction litigation. Michelle also volunteered for Gulfcoast Legal Services, providing pro bono legal assistance to those needing counsel in general litigation and landlord-tenant disputes.

During law school, she served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Rex M. Barbas of the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Court in and for Hillsborough County, Florida. Michelle is currently a board member and the vice chair of Tampa Bay Waterkeeper, a nonprofit dedicated to improving, preserving, and protecting Tampa Bay’s watershed.
