Monika Ledlova represents individuals and businesses in all aspects of civil litigation. Her practice focuses on the defense of claims related to general liability, including personal injury, premises liability, product liability, construction defects and various complex torts.
Before joining Wilson Elser, Monika worked at a boutique firm in Miami, Florida, and a national firm, where she defended corporate clients in litigation involving first-party property insurance and toxic tort disputes. Previously, she was a law clerk for the Honorable Jill R. Cummins in the Montgomery County Circuit Court, Sixth Judicial Circuit, where she honed her legal research skills and drafted detailed case briefs. Monika’s undergraduate and law school years in Washington, D.C., exposed her to a broad range of legal education, including various internships. During law school, she gained valuable insight into courtroom dynamics and procedures as a judicial intern for the Honorable Zuberi B. Williams in the District Court of Maryland, District Six, and the Honorable Rainey R. Brandt in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. She served as a legal intern in the Office of the General Counsel at the Federal Maritime Commission and the Office of International Affairs at the United States Department of Justice.
