Peter Catalanotti (Partner-San Francisco, CA) and his team were granted a Motion for Attorneys’ Fees in a professional liability case litigated in Alameda Superior Court. The plaintiff, a commercial tenant, filed a lawsuit against the commercial landlord and the real estate broker. After contested law and motion matters, written and oral discovery, and a mandatory settlement conference, Peter convinced the plaintiff’s counsel to voluntarily dismiss the claims against one of the real estate brokers. Subsequent to the dismissal, the court heard and granted the real estate broker’s motion for attorneys’ fees in the amount of $70,268.86.
