Michael Duffy (Partner-Chicago, IL) was recently honored with the prestigious Bishop Quarter Award, presented by the Archdiocese of Chicago at a ceremony presided over by Cardinal Blase J. Cupich, Archbishop of Chicago. The Award is presented annually to a layperson in each vicariate who demonstrates a consistent commitment to serving the Archdiocese's ministries, and Mike is one of only six laypersons to receive it across all of Chicago. Mike’s selection reflects a longstanding commitment to serving others that extends well beyond his professional responsibilities. His involvement with nonprofit organizations dedicated to improving the lives of others echoes the same spirit of service and leadership he brings to his legal practice. Whether advocating for clients in or out of the courtroom, Mike approaches each matter by understanding his clients’ circumstances, goals, and objectives and pursuing solutions tailored to achieve the outcomes that matter most to them. In this respect, the qualities recognized by the Bishop Quarter Award ‒ service, leadership, and a sustained commitment to others ‒ are also hallmarks of Mike’s approach to the practice of law.
