Leia Leitner (Associate-Orlando, FL) was quoted in “Florida Bar Leadership Academy Class VIII: The Experience of the ‘Pandemic Class,’” an article published in the January 27, 2022, issue of Florida Bar News. Attorneys are selected to the Florida Bar Leadership Academy after a rigorous vetting process and spend the class enhancing skills to become diverse and inclusive lawyers who will grow to be leaders within the community. For Leia and her classmates, the pandemic added a challenge. However, Leia says “we stayed the course by coming together virtually. We participated in virtual happy hours, a book club, and small leadership meetings … to ensure that our class project podcast, ‘Limited Liability Leadership Academy,’ was finished before our year ended … I would not trade this experience for anything as I have met the most amazing people.”
