Beth Golub (Partner-San Diego) and Tracey Angelopoulos (Of Counsel-San Diego) prevailed on a motion for terminating sanctions on behalf of a valued client of the firm. The motion was brought based on plaintiff’s failure to comply with discovery and their outrageous and harassing litigation tactics against the attorneys and firm. The case was ongoing for more than four years and subjected the client and attorneys to having to respond to serial meritless motions, actions and behaviors. Terminating sanctions are not granted lightly, and obtaining this result required substantial fortitude, perseverance and excellent legal strategy and briefing.
