Stratton Horres (Partner-Dallas) and Frank Manchisi (Partner-White Plains) succeeded in obtaining dismissal of a case brought in Austin, Texas, by a minor who sued two European medical product manufacturers of Mogen clamps in connection with severe injuries sustained during a circumcision. After months of discussions, Stratton and Frank convinced plaintiff’s counsel that they did not have jurisdiction over their European client, and plaintiffs’ counsel voluntarily dismissed the company from the suit.
