Laura B. Jordan (Partner-White Plains, NY) was inducted as President of the Bronx County Bar Association on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at the Association’s 121st Annual Induction Dinner. Alan B. Friedberg (Senior Counsel-White Plains) co-hosted the event, attended by over 600 guests. Laura’s first official act as President was giving the President’s Award to Peter A. Kolbert, a former Wilson Elser partner and now Senior Vice President of Claims and Litigation at Health Care Risk Advisors, the largest insurer of physicians and hospitals in the Bronx and in the State of New York. In addition, Judge Dianne Renwick, recently appointed Presiding Justice of the New York State Supreme Court Appellate Division, First Department, received the Judicial Excellence Award.
