Carolyn O’Connor (Partner-Florham Park, NJ), the Regional Managing Partner of Wilson Elser's New Jersey office, was quoted as a Panelist for the NJSBA Annual Meeting in which she addressed the topic entitled “Has Coronovirus Taken Women Back to the 1950’s?” In the May 20, 2021, edition of Law360 in an article titled “Female Attys Tackle Workday Pandemic Pressure.” When the pandemic hit, Carolyn began holding weekly “Let’s Have Lunch” Zoom calls with her office and offered remote “Coffee with Carolyn” to Associates which has allowed her to identify and connect with those personnel who appeared to be struggling. Her takeaway was that you "cannot put one definition on what the pandemic has meant to women attorneys." Her new passion is ensuring the post-pandemic culture in her office continues to support women who continue to work remotely, she said.
