Wilson Elser ranked #8 out of the 68 firms with at least 601 attorneys that participated in the 2025 Women in Law Report compiled by Law360. This latest Report provides a data-driven view of U.S. law firms at the end of 2024, looking at the representation of women at all levels of a typical law firm, from associates to equity partners. A total of 249 firms participated in the survey, which requested 2024 data and was sent out in early 2025, just as the federal government questioned the legality of firms’ DEI efforts. While there were roughly 50 fewer firm participants, the survey data covers more than 100,000 U.S. attorneys, including more than 45,000 partners, similar to recent years.

According to Law360, headcount alone doesn't tell the whole story of gender equity at law firms. The upcoming release of Law360's “Social Impact Leaders” will combine this ranking with assessments of leadership equity to create a fuller picture of firms' efforts.
