Wilson Elser’s study finds insurance litigation clients strongly favor continuing to hold depositions, mediations and workers compensation hearings virtually. Mat notes, “Still, while the pandemic demonstrated that many aspects of litigation can be done effectively virtually, other aspects of a trial – such as jury selection – still remain more effective in person,” with lawyers needing to be strategic about which cases and activities are best suited for virtual litigation.
