Wilson Elser’s National Trial Team (NTT) will host the 2026 Mock Trial Invitational in the firm’s New York office on March 12–14, 2026. This flagship program, held biennially, delivers a high-impact, immersive trial advocacy experience designed to help develop the firm’s next generation of courtroom leaders. No prior trial experience is required; what matters is a genuine interest in becoming a trial lawyer and a commitment to preparation and active participation.

The Invitational brings together 20 attorneys, selected through a rigorous nomination process, to participate in an intensive, hands-on mock trial led by New York office partners and NTT cochairs Gene Boulé and Mat Ross, as well as seasoned trial lawyers from across the firm. Participants will be assigned extensive pre-work, including trial-focused recordings, and their experience will culminate in faculty-led feedback sessions, video review, and small-group coaching. The program, thoughtfully structured to maximize learning and impact, blends rigorous skill development with meaningful mentorship, collaboration, and networking.

The Mock Trial Invitational is a premier program and a cornerstone of the firm’s National Trial Advocacy Training, offered through the Wilson Elser Institute.
