Marisa Trasatti (Partner-Baltimore, MD) was elected a Senior Director of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel (FDCC) at the organization’s August 2021 annual meeting held at the prestigious Greenbriar Resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. The FDCC is a 1,500-member professional association composed of defense lawyers and representatives from the insurance and corporate communities. Marisa, who previously served as a Director, also accepted the FDCC’s Andrew C. Hecker Award for “The Travel Industry on Trial: The State of the Art of Human Trafficking Awareness and the Impact of Third-Party Civil Cases,” an article she co-authored with Baltimore associate Kevin Foreman. This is Marisa’s second Hecker award, which is given annually for the most outstanding FDCC Quarterly article.
