Wilson Elser placed 21 among The National Law Journal (NLJ) 500 firms on the NJL Women Scorecard, up 11 points from last year's rankings. Data on gender diversity is collected at the same time firms report financial numbers and head counts. Only the largest 350 firms are eligible for the Women Scorecard. The data in this survey is self-reported and previously unpublished. Not all firms in the NLJ 500 provide gender statistics and some firms cannot count gender in average FTE terms, eliminating them from this scorecard. The score is determined by adding the percentage of women attorneys and women partners. In the case of a tie, the higher rank is awarded to the firm with more proportionate female equity partners.
