Karen Bashor (Partner-Las Vegas) collaborated on “Mentorships Make a Difference,” an article that appeared in the August 2020 edition of Nevada Lawyer. As a mentor from the firm’s Women Attorneys Valued and Empowered (WAVE) program she provided examples from her own experiences to illustrate the importance of women attorneys having a mentor and supporter in their corner. The article highlights how having a meaningful mentor is an indispensable element to continued success and growth in the legal field, so all attorneys, both male and female, should inquire within their own organizations and community for mentors and mentorship opportunities.
