Katherine E. Tapp (Associate-Louisville, KY) shared her love of falconry and the application of its lessons to her legal career in “Of Talons and Briefs: Where Falconry Meets the Law,” which appeared in the January 24, 2024, posting of Thomson Reuters Westlaw Today. “The reality is that both lawyers and falconers share a commitment that requires embracing strategy, patience, mentorship, adaptability, and the delicate balance between control and letting go.” In this article, Katherine highlights some of the parallels she observed in pursuit these seemingly disparate interests.
