Rebecca Bates handles cases from inception through trial, including court appearances, depositions, dispositive motion practice, mediation, and settlement negotiations. She defends medical professionals against claims involving complicated deliveries, prenatal care mismanagement, brain damaged infants, emergency medical care management, improper ICU management, failure to diagnose cancer, surgical and post-surgical complications, infectious disease management, delay in diagnosis, stroke, neurological injuries, orthopedic surgical management, and radiological misreads.
From 1995 to 2002, Rebecca worked as a nurse, including a registered nurse, at tertiary teaching hospitals in Australia. She utilizes her knowledge of medicine and nursing to isolate issues early in case management so that her clients are well prepared for all stages of litigation, including trial.
