Health Care & Medical Malpractice Litigation
Having handled hundreds of health care and medical malpractice claims and lawsuits across the nation, Scott has tried 25 to verdict, winning them all. He has handled cases in every substantive area of health care imaginable across 35 states. These include representation of traditional physicians, hospitals and acute care facilities as well as allied health professionals, therapists, physician extenders, home health groups, independent assisted living and many other ancillary providers. He continues to be a national adviser to private, self-insured trusts in addition to managing health care cases for private insurers. 

Admiralty & Marine
Scott is a United States Coast Guard Master Captain for freshwater and saltwater and has commercial towing endorsements. He is one of the few attorneys in America with these credentials. Scott has handled injury cases for maritime workers as well as passengers and third parties in boating and ship accidents. He also has managed property and cargo claims for barge and ship accidents on the Great Lakes and Western Rivers. 

General Litigation
Scott regularly handles trial and pre-trial discovery in all types of general liability and general litigation for the firm’s clients. He also has tried commercial cases and business tort claims. Matters have involved personal injury, professional malpractice and property damage, and he has managed excessive force and wrongful arrest cases for municipalities, and battery and excessive force cases for private security companies.
