Earlier in her career, Stephanie worked at the State Attorney’s Office, Ninth Judicial Circuit as a Felony Domestic Violence and General Felony Prosecutor, represented Florida in a variety of trials (10+ first chair, 20+ combined first and second chair) ranging from criminal traffic offenses to sexual battery charges punishable by life in prison, as well as domestic violence and attempted first-degree murder cases. Areas of Focus

Premises Security
When an incident related to negligent security occurs, Stephanie works with third-party entities to gather evidence and information, interviews witnesses and conducts an on-site investigation. She performs a thorough assessment of the claim to prepare a strong defense strategy for her clients. Stephanie’s background working as a prosecutor in conjunction with law enforcement agencies helps her ensure that security undertakings are duly documented and preserved. When a serious incident occurs and long before a lawsuit is initiated, she often meets on short notice with appropriate personnel at the scene. In crisis situations, she provides emergency capabilities to help manage and control critical incidents, and offers assistance in responding to press inquiries.

General Liability
Upon receipt of a claim, Stephanie formulates an initial strategy plan that highlights the likely exposure, possible defenses and information needed to quickly move the claim to dismissal or a cost-effective resolution for her clients. She strives to accelerate turnaround through procedural dismissals, substantive dismissals, successful tenders and negotiated settlements. Should matters nonetheless escalate, Stephanie relies on the firm’s trial capabilities, enlisting the aid of some of the finest defense trial attorneys in the country. Their solid reputation invariably drives down demands from the outset of a dispute, which translates into massive financial and reputational savings for the firm’s clients.
