Sunny Shapiro has spearheaded the defense of challenges faced by corporations in all facets of complex litigation in products liability, toxic tort and environmental disputes involving manufacturers, public utilities and premises owners.
An experienced trial attorney, Sunny is regularly engaged as coordinating national and regional counsel to develop cost-effective strategies to respond to all phases of litigation. With an extensive background in e-Discovery platforms, document collection, depositions, summary judgment and trial, Sunny has directed cases from inception to appeal. Her clients include corporations, public utilities, industrial and commercial contractors, and manufacturers and suppliers, as well as legal, insurance and financial industry professionals.
Sunny has a background in alternative dispute resolution, having handled settlement conferences, mediations and informal negotiations. She also has successfully represented clients at mediation and arbitrations. Before beginning practice, Sunny interned at the California Department of Justice Office of the Attorney General working on matters involving the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), water quality and air pollution. She was chosen for a prestigious year-long internship in the Antitrust Section of the California Department of Justice Attorney General’s Office.
